*Please be advised that this workshop will be filmed. By registering for and attending this event, you agree to take part in the recording of this workshop for future use on the WCG Online Academy.
This 90-minute workshop accommodates up to 25 participants and is tailored to the Texas Medical Center's research and medical communities.
In an interview, PhDs and MDs (including those still in training) frequently use a linear approach in telling how good they are instead of illustrating their value. This workshop teaches participants how to comb through their experience for the stories that not only illustrate their accomplishments and individual value, but also can be applied to various typical interview questions. From there, participants will learn how to seamlessly intertwine these stories into indirect questions as a way to ensure that the breadth and depth of their experience is covered, even in a short interview. Participants will conduct mini mock interviews with a partner to practice and receive feedback on their chosen illustrations.
